Ice Fishing
Fish and dine in custom-designed all cedar finnish cabin. Each cabin is 8’ x 12’, seats 8 comfortably, well insulated against the cold. Cabin comes with a fireplace and a folding table.

Poor quality boots are the No. 1 reason people feel cold in the north. CKX boots have comfort levels of up to -85C or -118F and only weighs 2.2lb (1.1lb per boot), which is lighter than the average sneakers. DNWT’s guests will be warm, comfortable and not encumbered by the weight of their cloth.
Aurora Lodge
Guests will enjoy a truly luxurious experience at the 7th Aurora Lodge. The lodge boasts nearly 3000 square feet of usable space spanned across 3 levels, heated floors, wood burning fireplace, walkout to a secluded lake with private dock and over 2000 square feets of deck space for aurora viewing. Last but not the least, comfortable, private and non-smelly washroom facilities. For the extra private experience, a private room and jet tub is available for additional cost. The Aurora Lodge provides a variety of baked goods,cold / hot drinks, locally inspired fish-soup, instant noodles, and a selection of alcoholic beverages. Specialty liquor must be requested and reserved ahead of time.

Aurora by bus or airport transfers in our spacious Ford Transit 15 seater high ceiling van.
Camera
Canon 5D DSLR with Sigma 24mm F1.4 lens for the best possible aurora photos. The large aperture of F1.4 takes ultra detailed aurora photos at relatively low ISO and short exposure time.
